Meet Brittany
Your Dog’s Advocate
From personal experience to professional expertise helping dogs and familiesaMy name is Brittany and I am the owner of K9Harmony. Living with and loving a dog with behavior problems is hard. I’ve done it. I’ve been where you are.
A little over ten years ago, I decided to take up dog training as a profession after having a German Shepherd mix named Stormy. Stormy was an incredible dog, but she pushed me to my limits—mentally, physically and emotionally. She had anxiety, distrusted everyone she came into contact with, and was reactive to other dogs. It was exhausting, but I loved her to death. I did everything I could to help her (and myself!) live the best life possible together, but honestly, I was in over my head.
After she passed away from cancer, I found myself reflecting on additional things I could have done to help her—there was so much I didn’t know. As I started to dive in and learn more, I realized I could help other people who live with and love dogs like Stormy. And so I began my journey to become a professional dog trainer.
Since then, I have learned from countless other trainers and continued to educate myself on dog behavior. I’ve worked with hundreds of families and dogs to help them through these challenges and it is my biggest joy to see people with dogs like Stormy succeed and live happily together with as little stress as possible. find harmony
